Market Place - Burek

On the South side of the city centre is Burek, a very popular market place. The stalls there are full of fresh eggs, farmer’s cheese, fruit and vegetables. Further, we can see stalls with clothes, underwear and shoes. The upper side (from Bem street) flower women can prepare you a bouquet on any occasion. Burek is also famous thanks to an organ-grinder statue. He’s making the work of everyone there easier by playing his organ in the right pose, while a parrot is sitting on his shoulder.
