Tarnow's fountains

There are many fountains, bigger and smaller, in Tarnów. We especially recommend some of them.

1. Planetary Fountain by the Planty Park - right next to the Missionary Fathers Church there is a fountain that reflects our Solar System. It is dedicated to pr. Professor Michał Heller, an outstanding citizen of Tarnów, who is an excellent cosmologist and knowledge  promoter about the Universe.

2. The fountain in the ks. Captain Piotr Gajda - at Bernardyńska Street - a renovated place that immediately appealed to the youngest. Active fountains, colorful lights and a charming corner by the Little Stairs give this place an amazing atmosphere.

3. The fountain in Piaskówka Park is one of the elements of this charming place. A large pond, the swans, ducks, make this place suitable to rest and relax. Next to pond is the playground for children. We recommend especially.

4. The fountain in the Sanguszków Park is a place located at the back of the garden. The fountain is nicely illuminated, and the changing streams of water make the time spent there more attractive.

5. The fountain with lions in Strzelecki Park, built in 1912 in the upper part of the park. Four lions support on their heads a pedestal on which stands the Greek goddess of youth Hebe.
