Zakopane

It’s called the Winter capital of Poland. It is true, however this short definition should be broadened to other seasons. Zakopane’s a city at the foot of Tatra Mountains, and has a wide range of tourist attractions throughout the whole year. Mountain climbing or using the mountain ride to Kasprowy Wierch or Gubałówka, swimming in thermal pools, fields of crocuses in spring, Ski Jumping competitions, many skiing and snowboarding slopes, or one of its kind atmosphere of the city centre with Krupówki, are the most popular attractions, but there is much more.

Zakopane is located about 180 km from Tarnów.
