Mirror Hall

Mirror Hall

Mirror Hall - that’s how the inhabitants of Tarnów call the building of the Municipal Savings Bank, built in 1882 according to the design of Karol Polityński. The edifice was the seat of a financial institution, appointed by wealthy citizens of the city, to provide the townspeople with a cheap loan and allow for the placement of savings. Til today, the ground floor of the building is occupied by a bank. However, the rooms located on the first floor played, and still continue to do so, a different role. The beautifully decorated hall, originally a ballroom, today holds representative roles, is called the Mirror Hall.

The Mirror Hall hosts various delegations, is a place of meetings and conferences, as well as numerous chamber concerts. The building is located on the Wałowa Street.
